We hosted a group of seven. They had one waiter and a helper for the table. They served the table and made sure that there were no issues. The food was great. We tried a few different dishes and they all were good. The risotto is well worth the trip.

After successive steak dinners, we decided to go to an Italian restaurant and Sorrento did not disappoint. The bread was wonderful and so is the olive oil and balsamic dip which came with roasted garlic and pesto sauce. We shared an order of bruschetta with tomato, basil and mozzarella to start. For my main course, I had the pappardelle pasta... More

Sorrento's is our favorite restaurant in Houston. A great menu with many things to choose from. Two of my favorites are the Homemade Ravioli in a butter sage sauce and of course the sea bass. You won't be disappointed. There is live piano music. The staff and service are wonderful.

I must preface this review...past dining experiences have been wonderful and memorable. Most recent visit 02-25-2017 was memorable for all the wrong reasons! We did not share our issues on said evening for many reasons, but I did phone the following Monday and shared all with Trey, the Mgr. He did offer to right the evening, but I had to... More

You typically won't find Sorrento on the best restaurant lists probably because it's not new and happening. It's an elegant upscale Italian restaurant that stands the test of time with great food and service. I had the business lunch today with a savory lobster bisque followed by seared tuna with risotto. Perfect and a bargain for $24 with a dessert.... More

We were here for our Valentine's day dinner.Sadly, they had a preset four course V day menu not a desirable option for a vegetarian like me.Only one veg option on the menu and the cost per person was 85$ not including the drinks. We were unaware that they would be serving only this menu today, no such information was provided on... All was great till we got an unexpected bill. Brunch was $35/person and you could have any entree on the menu plus salad/soup & desert. A great brunch. Except that the waiter told us the specials and did not explain that they were not "entrees". When that happened all of a sudden everything was a la carte. Since two of... More

The love affair started when I got married. We had a small wedding dinner here and the food was amazing and we had a custom menu. The next event was our one year anniversary, birthday and holiday celebrations. Each time the food was delicious and service was great. My husband took this past weekend for my birthday and we had... Romantic atmosphere that my wife and I love. Ravioli, fish, filet, divine soups, breads to die for and a great wine list. Again and again and again. Bravo.

Went here last night on a double date. The food was good, but the service was not. Our main waiter was ok. The person that brought the bread reached over my wife to put here bread on the wrong bread plate, when he could have put it on hers without reaching over. This was also the first time of 3... More
