Lucius is a consistently great place. Been there a few times now and always leave satisfied. Friendly, professional, and efficient staff and service. Do make reservations. Having a wonderful dinner out with a nice bottle of self bought wine can't be beat. I had the $35 filet this last trip. Far better then the Vic and Anthony's $50 version the... More

Lucio's is located half a block from The Pass and Provisions and, to some extent, is under the shadow of those two legendary restaurants. Lucio's however, can hold its ground. While the place is not much to look at, from the outside or inside, and some improvement in decor could improve its business, the food is good. The beef carpaccio... More

Great service and food. The menu changes very slowly and is what you would expect at a smaller, high quality restaurant (but you can order older, off menu items on occasion). As a result the food is consistently good. We are regulars I guess having eaten there five times this year already. In response to the previous negative review: the... More

The menu was very good, and the restaurant is really neat! However, there was only one server for the whole restaurant on the particular evening we went, and he provided poor service to us, while providing better, more preferential treatment to others. One example was telling us the soup of the day then following it up with, "We don't have... More

Definitely enjoyed the ambiance, the menu and the overall feel of the restaurant. The waiter, however, was odd and treated us differently than the other tables. He told us there were no specials of the night then promptly told the table next to us that there were, in fact, specials. He also acted like we were a chore to handle... More

Had dinner at Lucio's. I will start by commenting on the service - OUTSTANDING!!! Very welcoming and supportive staff. From the valet parking to the last waiter on the team. We really had a good time. Food was great - rack of lamb and the tartar tuna were outstanding!!! I highly recommend. Portions are on the small side, so bring... More

This is a small quality restaurant that focuses on high quality food from whatever is fresh at the market. Great friendly staff. They have both wine you can buy and bring your own. Awesome to visit!

PRO's: Many people consider this Houston's finest BYOB restaurant. I agree, although the restaurant has a fine selection of reasonably priced wines if you choose to buy them from Lucio's. The white table cloth tables recently been replaced by marble tops and new chairs maintaining the restaurant's glamourous look. Service is definitely a plus. The limited menu has individual meat,... I had been here a while back and only remembered that I had liked the patio. Too hot to sit out this time, but inside was nicer than I remembered. Food was excellent. Although you can bring you own wine for a modest corkage fee, they have a nice wine list. No problem for gluten-free for my celiac husband. Service... More

First time dinning and our experience was absolutely wonderful. The service was exceptional and all employees were very friendly as was the exceptional wine/beer menu after forgetting our wine at the house. We had Scallops with Risotto as well as the Hanger Steak. The steak had a beautiful char on the outside and was cooked to a perfect medium rare,... More
