It was great food. We had our work Christmas party there and had about 50 people there and everyone was very pleased with the food. The appetizers were AMAZING! We had a nice private room that was decorated beautifully. It is expensive to eat here but I guess you get what you pay for so it was worth it! Will... More
Each of our group of six ordered the governor's Houstons filet mignon. The steak was tender and juicy. The sides were prepared perfectly. The service was impeccable. We finished the meal with a creme brulee. The meal was one of the best that I have ever had.

A restaurant in the standard of good Texas restaurants. Food is excellent. Service excellent too. You cannot miss this restaurant from the highway...a bigger than life statue of Sam Houston adorns the restaruant.
