We returned to Everest for the second time, thirteen months after our first visit. The food, superb, and the friendliness were as good as what we remembered. Although we are NOT authorities on this type of food, we have been fortunate to be with people from Nepal on both of our visits. Everest is one of their food destinations in... More

My wife and I ate at Everest this past Friday about 7:30. The restaurant was at capacity at that time, so we had to wait 10 minutes for a table. We had no problem with kind of wait on a Friday night. Everest is a somewhat intimate restaurant with murals of Nepal on its longest wall. It is a very... More

Have tried so many Nepalese restaurants in Dallas but none of them would beat Everest Restaurant. Food is very delicious as well as friendly staff members. The restaurant is almost always busy & full during dinner & lunch time with waiting time of 5-10 mins. I would highly recommend to try Bhuttan & momo. I would love to visit again!

This place used to be a Thai restaurant - Run Thai, and it has been converted to a Nepalese restaurant a few years ago. Although this is a very tiny place, it is clean, family owned, the food is authentic. Waitress are very friendly and the service is above average.

This came highly recommended to us by a Nepali. Enjoyed the momos (both steamed and fried), although they were different than what we'd expect from having them in the Himalayas. The Hong Kong noodles were as expected - Indian/Chinese - heavy soy and sweet mix - pretty tasty. The Desi chicken curry did taste like homemade. We ordered medium spicy... More

This is a restaurant near DFW in a very diverse part of the metro area. Near my son’s office, we went for lunch. Upon entering this small restaurant, you are hit with the unique smell of spices from that part of the world. The menu is huge with all kinds of dishes described as “traditional recipe” or traditional spices.” Not... More

My husband and I went there with two young Nepali people. We wanted to try Nepali food with their input and they were also very interested in eating their own home country foods. Well they nor we were very impressed with it overall. The service was ok not too great but our waitress was friendly. We all ordered the Momos... More

The kitchen was very slow, although the service was polite and nice. The Nepali food is pretty much the same as Indian. Spicy and flavorful. But we were not impressed. The Onion Bhaji was not exciting and the vegetable spring roll was average. The mutton Thali had too much bone to it. The Tash was actually quite good, and exotic.... More
