Went here for Holiday lunch with my coworkers. I really enjoyed the food and the architechture. However, with only an hour lunch break, by time the food arrived we needed to leave. Go here when you have time to sit and relax.

We were spending a weekend in the Hill Country and were super excited to find this hidden gem. The food was AMAZING and the prices were very reasonable. Great steaks, huge salads, and tons of choices for sides.

As always, the food and service is awesome and comparable to anything in the Hill Country. The atmosphere in the old Victorian home is very comfortable. Living in Kingsland has been made so much more enjoyable knowing we can stay " home" and no need to travel elsewhere for a great meal.

Very good food, loved the house it is located in. The only problem is that it takes a while to get your food

If you want a meal that's as close to fine dining as it gets around here this is the place. It isn't fancy but very nice and food choices are all delicious. Upstairs bar is laid back and nice before or after a meal.

We chose this restaurant for a long overdue night out. We started with the Whiskey Smoked Shrimp dip with bruschetta. Pretty good, but a bit sweet for me. My wife ordered the special, Mahi Mahi with mango. She loved it, and she is not easy to please. My Steak Oscar was cooked very well, but the crabmeat was too cool.... More

Arrived on a Friday night and didn't know it was advised to make reservations, and were told it was over an hour wait. We went upstairs to the bar and ordered some drinks. The bar is not owned by the restaurant and is a very friendly spot to relax. We didn't even wait 10 minutes when they said our table... More

This is the place for great, drinks and the old world charm of this renovated house turned into a lovely dining facility and an awesome lounge. Food is great with some really good burgers.

Yep! The original house where the Texas Chain-saw Massacre happened and also where they filmed the movie! The house was disassembled in sections from the original location,(between Childress and Quanah,Tx), and reassembled in Kingsland,Tx. Very impressive with its originality but new look! The food is very stylish and refined. The help was very professional and Texas friendly. I can't wait... More
