After a day out with the kids we decided to stop off in Kyle and thought we'd try out one of the best places to eat in town. We weren't disappointed. I would recommend the brisket and any of the well made sides. The kids were satisfied too which is a true measure of achievement.

I read reviews on Yelp and Trip Advisor, and because I had not had central Texas BBQ in awhile, I suggested to my husband that we give this a go. We were there after Texas State University graduation so it was mid-afternoon. My husband got the haystack because of the reviews, and he did like it, but he didn't rave.... More

Found this place on Trip Advisor while on a visit to Austin. We had the sausage, brisket, burger, mac and cheese, baked beans, and cole slaw. The brisket was amazing, the best I've had. The wait staff (Jayvon) was very polite and helpful. I would recommend checking this place out if you're in the area.

The brisket and sausage are good. But the portions of beans and potato salad are small. The meat portions are medium. It's expensive for what you get,

In town for work and this place was recommended by locals. Very quaint, small seating area. We got there just in time to get a table after ordering before people arrived. I loved the license plate decor!

We got a pound of brisket to go, the meat was so tender it melted in your mouth! The sauce is the perfect compliment! We will definitely be back!

This place is pretty good. Good tasting sliced and chopped barbeque sandwiches. Not a lot of seating and a cash only. Sauce is tasty.

Had the combo place with rich meats and sides. The sauce is great, the cafe is really cute with a Willie Nelson for President poster. So much fun. Live music some nights and the owners are a delight.

My family and I have enjoyed this barbecue place every time we have gone there. We were going there before they got the fancy sign. 😄 Last time I was there, it was being "run" by several young teen boys. This would have been fine if 5 out of 5 of them were actually working. In this case, maybe 2... More
