We wanted to eat at nice, but relaxed atmosphere restaurant for one night of our trip, and this was it. We enjoyed the food and the bar. The service was great and even though it's close to Texas Tech, we didn't feel like we were run over by the college crowd. Will definitely be back.

We live not far from Triple J's, and have tried it many times. The music is always great, but, repeatedly, the food is mediocre at best. Service seems to sway from really good to really bad. Last time we were in there, the waiter was impatient and kept staring at me as if to hurry me up as we were... More

You really need to have reservations, this place is popular. Food is very good, steaks were the best. Fish was good too. Good attention from staff and a wide selection of beer and wine. Don't know if they served mixed drinks?? I would recommend a visit here for dinner.

On a trip to Lubbock for business, I stopped in to the triple j chophouse. I'd heard the pizza was good so I ordered the classic loaded pepperoni. "More than the average pepperoni pizza." not sure what they meant by more than the average but this was not really loaded with more pepperoni than I could tell. I like a... More

Went to Triple J for New Years Eve because the reviews made it sound so good and boy were we wrong! To start with, we ordered the nachos which weren't really nachos as they were served on wontons and the queso didn't even taste like queso. The waiter brought us a bowl of BBQ sauce to go with it as... More

Every time we come to Lubbock we make sure to eat here! It's located by some funky bars and I would consider it a college hangout but the times we have gone it (around 1 or 2 on a saturday) hasn't been busy. I'm sure it is busy when there is a college football game but we were lucky and... More

Our server was wonderful. He was attentive and on our drinks and food. The kitchen however dropped the ball. Missing items our server had to run back for, two at our table ordered medium steaks and they came out dry and chewy -- way overdone. One person had a salmon salad and she noted the salmon was overcooked as well.... More

Triple J has a great menu with some creative items. They have a good selection of appetizers, but I recommend the Side Winders. My wife and I had the salmon and the chicken pot pie and both were excellent!

I have been to this place once before and it was ok. Last night was my husband's Christmas party and I was really impressed this time. I really liked the won ton chips with the queso blanco. The meat and chicken were amzing, but the best part of the dinner was the bread pudding. It was so fresh and delicious!!... More

My favorite Friday night happy hour go to. The food is very good and mostly consistent. If you love craft beer, and live music, then this is your place. House salad really needs some work, very boring, but the poppy seed dressing makes up for it. Steaks, and prime rib are amazing, but the pork chop is my favorite!
