We were told we would we would be seated in 20 minutes two hours later we are still waiting. The place was clearing out. We kept complaining to the hostess and finally said well we can put you in two booths. So they did and we wait another hour and a half maybe two before we get our food. Never... More

We decided to go out Friday night, to celebrate my friends getting engaged. We decided since it was a nice day, that we wanted to sit out on the patio. Ruby Tequila's had the best drink specials, we decided on the Margaritas which were served in plastic cups which was really a great idea because we were sitting outside. They... More

We also go to this restaurant when we stay at the Overton. It was .3 of a mile and the weather was good so we walked there. The chips and hot sauce were good as always. We ordered queso that was really great and we both had chimichangas which were really good. Our waitress was friendly and really sweet. Will... More

We had a wonderful time at Ruby Tequila's Mexican Kitchen. The strawberry margaritas were tasty, the green chili quest was delicious and our service was excellent. The only negative was the inferno sauce was way way hotter than we expected. Too hot for me to be able to finish my meal. I'll get a different sauce next time

Tried the Anaheim Chicken and Mexican enchiladas with green tomatillo sauce. Sides are all starchy and heavy. Enchiladas were flour - also starchy and heavy. Food was on the overcooked or old and boiled down to a concentrate side…sauce was way too tangy strong, looked smoked and thick. Tried a fro marg - which was enormous - had to dilute... More

Love the food and the University vibe. Anything with the queso inferno is dynamite. Literally! It's really hot but really good. What disappoints me the most is the lack of pride in the cleanliness of the place. Not that is dirty. Just always, always there are tables that need to be bused. Dirty bar glassware that is stacked and piled... More

If you refer to something as a "pile-on" you shouldn't skimp on the portions. I am lucky that I wasn't all that hungry. They weren't even busy and the service was slow.

When I saw the filth built-up in the restrooms and the food still left in the seats after the previous customers had left, it should have given me a clue - go somewhere else, it's not worth it. But..I didn't listen. I had the chicken fajitas, I like to call them the over-brined chicken fajitas. Salty, dry, sent it back.... More
