We have Rib Crib in Tulsa, so I'm familiar with it. This one wasn't really any better or worse than any other one I've been to. It's fine for a chain restaurant, but doesn't compare to some local joints. We had a large group and they accommodated us well, service was okay, food was fine. Overall, it was average chain... I had a craving for barbecue and of course this is the first place to came to mind. I'm so glad they changed their menu up, there are so many more choices here. I decided to go with the chicken wrap. I had the smoked chicken that was just totally amazing. I also asked for the french fries extra crispy... More

Great Food at the Rib Crib. I love the chicken plate with some corn and okra. I think this will be my new place when I come to town. And super nice people

I will start this off by saying if you are going to have BBQ in Lubbock - You BETTER Bring the HEAT! With so many amazing local places to savor the flavor - this place does not get far with me. The brisket was dry and lots of fat and the potato salad not worth commenting on. The sausage and... More

I kind of was hoping for a more smokey flavored Baby back ribs, but they reminded me of when my mom used to boil them and then covered them with barbecue sauce, although they did fall of the bone...just like mom. Not gonna go into the coleslaw, but I did find two items that I truly enjoyed their queso, and... More

Our meal was incredible. I thought the brisket was fantastic. I also had ribs that were so tender and yummy. We had grab a big package meal to take home where you got three and a half pounds of meat with 4 sides and it was good. I kinda wish the sides were a tad bigger. I could have enjoyed... More

IMHO, Rib Crib has slipped a notch in their BBQ quality. I started noticing it around 2 years ago. Is it the cooks or supervision? I have no idea. For the BBQ aficionados the Crib probably won't make the cut. It is a good place with a nice atmosphere where in can be served decent BBQ and the trimmings.

There is no shortage of barbecue options in Lubbock, but I had never tried Rib Crib before. I was in the mood for a nice rack of ribs so I thought I'd give it a try. It was ok, but nothing special. Note that they serve dry rub ribs and let you apply whatever sauce you want from the bottles... More

I had never been to this restaurant and we were in the neighborhood doing some shopping, so we decided to try it. It was ok. I did not like the rub on the ribs.....too salty. The sauce was so so nothing special either. Probably will not return Service was good.
