This was our first time eating at Abuelos. Everything was very good. Our meals were well prepared and quite tasty. Service was excellent. I have no issue with recommending Abuelos to anyone.

The service and atmosphere are great and the food is outstanding. The wait to be seated is not excessive even on weekends.

I have had several meals here over the past 6 years. I have yet to have either bad food or bad service! It is well worth the wait for a table

This was stop #5 on our Abuelo's tour of 2017. Have visited over a dozen Abuelo's locations nationwide, but this was our first time in Lubbock. We visited 7 other locations in a weeks time. Love this chain!

If you’re dining out for Mexican food this is not the place to eat. Small over priced portions and not authentic.

Lovely courtyard that hosts bands on summer weekends. I love that they serve yummy seafood dishes with a splash of spice and original recipes! Always excellent service and cocktails are great, try the "swirl"!

Description
Real Mexican food is a feast for the senses. From colorful peppers to the sounds of sizzling fajitas all the way to that incredible flavor. Each mouthful is just as much a result of the freshest ingredients as it is a result of the chef's expertise. Abuelo's offers diners the opportunity to experience real Mexican food, combining authentic, made from scratch classic dishes with the rich, subtle flavors of coastal and interior Mexican cuisine. Our executive Chef Luis Sanchez has spent decades perfecting our menu, and we boast a wide selection of wood-grilled fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, chile rellenos or Abuelo's unique House Specialties (depending on your location). To compliment your meal, our expert bartenders are masters at crafting signature favorites, including a wide variety of margaritas and swirls. Whatever the occasion, we'll stop at nothing to make your time at Abuelo's a memorable dining experience.
