We had a nice dinner here. The food was good and the service was fast and competent even though the place was busy. We would go back. It would be a good choice for adults or for people travelling with children.

Johnny and Donna Horn serve up some of the best food in East Texas. The atmosphere is eclectic with good old hometown service.

We had 8 people go to the restaurant. Everyone was happy with their food! I had the black and blue burger and it was fantastic! The fried shrimp I tasted was great! I also tasted the boudin bites and tried green tomatoes. The boudin bites were too breaded for my taste. Fried green tomatoes were great! They had a light... More

On a business trip, and just had to have me some cajun gumbo for lunch and rumor had it that this was the place to find it! Rumor had it right for I was not disappointed when I sat down to a big ole bowl of pipin hot chicken and sausage savoryness! Perfectly able to sop up the delicious roux... More

Passing thru town....checked TA....found this neat spot! Cute decor....very friendly staff and delicious food! We both ordered salads, and they were very, very large! The Fried crawfish salad and the ElPaso salad were both tasty!

Stopped in Marshall for lunch and decided to try this gem! Upon finding out it was our first visit, staff immediately came to our rescue with their extensive menu. Out of a party of 6, we each tried a different menu item. With true delight.... everyone left full and anticipating our next trip to Marshall.... just for the food!

The menu includes sandwiches, Cajun food, salads, soups, steaks, and fish. In my opinion, except for their steaks, this is the best restaurant in Marshall, Texas. The hamburgers are great. Orders are placed at a counter, then the food is brought to the table.

Being from New Orleans, I'm always critical of Cajun restaurants. This one tries hard, by offering many Cajun/creole style dishes, but they just don't taste right. Some things are overcooked or even prepared with different spices. Still, this is a very popular lunch locale.

We were passing through and looking for a bite to eat. We found information about this place at the hotel and tried it out. MAN are we glad we did! The cashier was friendly and answered all our questions about the menu. I had the shrimp po'boy. It was one of the best I have ever had. It was made... More
