Early supper. Had chicken fried steak. Staff very attentive. Mashed potatoes were not instant. White graveyard was not a mix. Steak was tender. Not a fan of the breaking but not bad. Some help could work on looking a little more groomed.

We were looking for an old style family restaurant and found the Chuckwagon. Large menu selction at affordable prices. Lots of Route 66 decore. Friendly staff. Located in downtown on the old Route 66. We were happy we stopped. Closed Monday and Tuesdays.

One of the best omelettes I've ever had! Nice little spot. Great service, great food and cool Route 66 themed diner. The salsa was amazing. Very happy we found this place on our way through town!

Can't complain about a thing! Route 66 atmosphere. The special was great tasting and filling. Service excellent and helpful with some touristy questions we had. Although the town has seen better days, the pride is still evident in the mural paintings and well-kept brick streets....More

We toured the Devils Rope and Route 66 museums and worked up an appetite WE were steered to the Chuckwagon and were very well satisfied with the friendly staff and great food.

This is a gem of a place. Part restaurant and part general store. It caters for every need whilst in Mclean. Lovely breakfast freshly cooked. Sent us onwards on Route 66 fully prepared for the rest of the day. Would love to come back here...More
