We stayed in Flores for one week recently and went to Cafe Yaxha several times for food and it never disappointed! The menu is very broad and reasonably priced. The breakfast pancakes are absolutely delicious!! There's also super drink deals, 2 for 30q on cocktails. The art work and photography on the wall creates a really cool environment and take... More

Normally, I would not rate this type of restaurant with 5 stars, but maybe 4, but it deserves the 5 stars, because it was the best food we had on Isla Flores in our 6 days stay. We went to a lot of the top 5-10 tripadvisor restaurants, but they are all tourist traps. This food was well prepared and... More

Stayed there for a couple of days and tried lots of things from the menu! Pasta with tuna is really good and chicken with curry also! They have vegetarian options and everything it's done at the moment so things are good and fresh! Really recommended 👌

The food at Cafe Arqueologico Yaxha is amazing and delicious. There is a great variety of food here, and your only option for dinner wont be a hamburguesa con queso. There are pre-hispanic Mayan dishes that are incredible, and the rest of the menu is also very delicious. We ate here for breakfast, lunch and dinner while in Flores. The... More

Breakfast are very good, big and around 40Q. Then they've got a lot cheap pasta wich you should try when you don't want to spend that much. The "pinchos" and the "curries" were the best I tried, the best food I had in the island !!

Cafe Yaxha has a very good restaurant that offers very nice local food. Prices are ok, the staff is superfriendly. The tropical breakfast ist the best! We stayed at Yaxha for two nights in a 4 bed dorm. The room was very very small and it was incredibly hot! Although we had 4 fans in our room we couldn't get... More

We had a wonderful breakfast here with some delicious coffee! A very nice staff, delicious food, and a fun and funky place to hang out. They have free wifi and are in no hurry to rush you along. They also have a hostel in case you need somewhere to stay. We didn't stay there though, just breakfast.

We stopped here for lunch after arriving in Flores from Tikal. We were hot, tired, and desperately in need of adult beverages, and Cafe Yaxha fit the bill. We ordered from the Mayan Specialities menu - I had the Pollo Xni Pec and my husband had the Pescado Tikinchik. Both dishes were very good, with generous portions. We also took... More

everything in Flores just seems to be more expensive.. probably being the gateway to tikal. the food selection here was good, prices ranging about that 45-60 mark for dinner.. which is very standard in Flores.. breakfast was tasty, and we shared one dinner dish which also hit the mark.. but would definitely go exploring to find any daily specials that...
