We've eaten here twice in the last year and it's simply the best meal I've had in ages. It is set on a hill, looking down both sides onto lovely sandy beaches. It has the most amazing views at sunset and you'll find all the guests leaping up to take pictures. The service is quick and friendly and the food... More

We were in Bermuda for 7 evenings, so we had the opportunity for 7 sunsets! This was our favorite. The open-air restaurant was charming... my bananas flambe fish was to die for.. the service was excellent... and the sunset... well.... let's just say God was showing off that evening! It was GORGEOUS!

I visit Bermuda several times a year due to business and this place constantly fails to impress me. The food is extremely subpar for the prices (and I know all of Bermuda is pricey). The service is virtually non existent and not friendly whatsoever. The only thing this place has going for them is their view.

It is far from where we were staying but tacked dinner onto a visit to St. George and so glad we did! The locale is off the beaten path on a cliff on a point with beautiful views of the ocean and even more beautiful sunsets. Service was friendly and attentive - relaxing, not rushed but there when you needed.... More

We ate here over five times during out stay and got cocktails for the beach below, daily. The staff is so friendly and the food is great -- nice variety. The view is unbeatable with the ocean just off the terrace and St. Katherine's Fort over to the right. We enjoyed salads, soups, pastas, steaks and seafood and have not... More

This is a lovely place for a sunset dinner, very romantic. The food is delicious and the drinks are quite good. The price is quite steep but you are paying for the food and the amazing views, it's well worth it. It is casual and fun in the daytime and the customers dress smart casual for dinner, women usually in... More

Came here with a large booking in the afternoon before we headed over to the beach. It looks absolutely lush from the outside and its very nice once in. The view over the ocean is absolutely stunning so i immediately thought that this was going to be a perfect afternoon. I got up and went to the bar to get... More

This is the best sunset in Bermuda. Situated by fort st Catherine - ask for a table on the patio. It overlooks gorgeous tobacco bay. Rêné the chef is incredible. The seafood pasta is the best I have ever eaten. The bacon wrapped scallops & salads are divine! The bar makes great drinks! This place will become a definite favorite... More

Hidden in the quiet town of St. George's is the Beach House at Blackbeard's. I was caught off-guard by the laid back atmosphere and an ocean side restaurant set up in a old beach shack. Don't judge a book by it's cover... you can catch one of the best vantage points for a sunset on the island while being treated... More

Incredible view over Achilles Bay. Food was good and priced in line with other waterfront restaurants in St. Georges. Our second visit, and we'll be back again. Ps, stick around after lunch at Achilles Bay...

A secluded cove on the islands of Bermuda is reportedly where one Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard, spent some time hiding out from the Governor Eden of North Carolina around 1718. His ship the Queen Anne’s Revenge may have even anchored off Achilles’ Bay; the crew may have basked on the beach and fished and swam in crystal clear turquoise water. They may also have created a small hut on the shore to shelter from the sun but what stands there today has transformed into the Beach House at Blackbeard's. It serves some of the best food on the island with wine to match in a shabby chic restaurant with a good bar and a special view of the sunset.
