Went to Bamira and wanted to have a nice birthday meal. We were sadly disappointed. First of all they did not have a proper menu. The original menu we got was a booklet of the owner adventures, pictures and stories, which we did not get the time to read. This booklet also had a menu which looked nice, but you... More

My partner and I ate here 3 times during our 7 night stay. It is not budget; mains range from €15-€20 and cheapest bottle of red was €20. Service is not the quickest but the food all appears to be freshly cooked by the one lady in the terrace kitchen, and there is only one waitress who was always pleasant... More

Plenty of choice on the menu and tempting enough to try something different. We planned 1 visit on our second week and went 3 times. I Recommend any pork dish, the spicy dishes were delicious and the fillet steak in pepper and mushroom sauce was yummy! We even made a point of speaking to and complimenting the lady chef on... Wonderful Restaurant. Pity it's not open June to October. A great night out and meals are a work of art. Friendly family staff. High quality restaurant even though you wouldn't think so from the restaurant

Booked a quick week away for a bit of sun following some family issues. This restaurant was just outside of the resort where we had rented a small bungalow. We popped in one evening for a nightcap on way back from an extremely disappointing meal further along the parade. We had coffee and liqueurs and decided we liked the look... More

Barmira has a bohemian feel with outstanding food. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner, taken to our seats. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, nothing was rushed, allowing us to look over the menu and read about the heritage of the restaurant before going through the sizeable list of specials. We picked from both the regular and... More

We came to Gran Canaria for the walking and not with much expectation of the dining. Before visiting Bamira this was definitely the case but the food here was exceptional with fine dining on a level with anything offered elsewhere. We had the 10 course tasting menu and it was outstanding, at €90 per head it wasn't cheap but the... More
