Traveling through Midland and opted for Italian tonight. Cute place with Italian atmosphere, busy bustling place on a Saturday night. Service was attentive and spot on but it stopped here. Italian dishes-lasagna and spaghetti served piping hot but no flavor. Sauce was watery and needed some garlic, salt and Italian seasoning. I'm from NY and I know how Italian should... More

I spent almost 10 minutes trying to find somewhere to park to pick up a to-go order, which was a bowl of minestrone soup, side salad, tea, and breadsticks. After all the frustration of trying to find a parking place, when I got back to work and opened the bowl of soup, there were 4 noodles, a piece of carrot,... More

Heard a lot about this place and has lots of local history. Had the pizza and it was average. Maybe the rest of the menu is good, but it did not meet the stories I heard about it.

Luigi's is a great little piece of Italy, complete with wine bottle candle sticks and checkered table cloths. This ambience-packed restaurant is a favorite of locals with posters and pictures of Midland Community Theater and Midland Jazz Festivals from 60+ years ago gracing the walls. The floors used to be covered with sawdust! The menu is relatively varied with Italian... More

Have been a patron for many years, notices over the last six months while salads and pizza are still great, the main dishes has been very inconsistent. Don't know if change in personnel, but change is apparent.

This downtown jewel is a local favorite! Come early for lunch. If you are within a few blocks just walk, as parking is a premium (like most downtowns).

I always love Luigi's. We have been going here for special occasions since I was a little girl. Its still the same great food and great atmosphere. One of Midland's treasures.

I found Luigi's disappointing. The interior is not very attractive The walls are decorated with memorabilia from the 70's and early 80's and the ceiling tiles are water stained. I had a pastrami sandwich and it was not very good. It gives the impression that at some time in the past it was a good restaurant, but the management has... More
