A few of us met here after not seeing each other for at least 15 years, the atmosphere and food were on point!

When number one son recommended this restaurant and I read that it is in a former post office I’m thinking a typical 1960s PO building like mine. Ugh. Such POs are not aesthetically fit for a Dollar General much less a restaurant. Well, this ain’t...More

WOW! Our own little piece of history, the original Post Office in New Braunfels and an absolutely wonderful Seafood Restaurant - if you like oysters, please try the Oysters Rockefeller - man-o-man they're so good! This was the first time I've ever been in McAdoo's...More

This used to be an old post office. The interior is very unique and casual so dont let the fancy exterior fool you. It has a wonderful patio and interior/exterior bar area. Its a very unique building and you should check it out. As for...More

Why have I never heard about this place!?! Excellent fresh seafood. Flavorful sides. Sinful desserts. Our server Crystal was excellent. Left us alone to talk, materialized when we needed something. Also has one of the greatest warm, traditional bars in central Texas.

The oysters were fresh and succulent, the fish was prepared to perfection, the wine paired magnificently, and the creme brulee was downright decadent. McAdoo's remains one of our favorites...More

We eat here several times a year and have never been disappointed. The menu is great and the food is top notch. The jalapeño margarita is awesome too.

We had reservations for a Friday night and were seated right away. Our server was a little slow getting to us at first, but apologized and was attentive thereafter. We had the seafood fondue appetizer which was very good. My husband had the Mahi Mahi...More

Great atmosphere. Food is average and over priced. I ordered the Alaskan halibut grilled, taste was bland. Fried spinach was horrible, it was like eating grease flakes. The fried okra was caked in batter, so much for the okra taste. So will i give them...More

Look at their posted menu. I didn’t order gluten free so I’m not much help on that one. The waitress did tell me they had it.
