Been here a dozen times not sure why I have never reviewed. The burger is a good old fashioned burger, comes in two sizes with a half dozen options and a grab your own fixings bar like Fuddruckers. The fries are hand cut and the onion rings are tasty. Great hand made milkshakes. Tried the chilli cheese dog today it... More

Unexpected treat. It's getting hard to find a good old fashioned hamburger. These had good quality beef, a good bun, and there is a nice condiment bar to personalize your meal.

Wife and I were coming back from Seguin, needed lunch, and I knew we would go right by TJ's, ate there once before, a good burger and set up the way my wife likes it, vegetables/produce/condiments are do it yourself, so deck out your burger as you like, decent fries. Service was surprisingly fast. It is worth a stop, good... More

Went to TJ's in New Braunfels for what was suppose to be a great burger, OH WELL! Ordered a Chili Burger, Don't know where the chili was also the fries were cold and stale like they have been sitting around for a while. The counter guy was clueless when anything was said to him, he just looked at you like... More

Three of us over 65 had great hamburgers and french fries here and loved it. The food was delicious, the service friendly and prompt. Could not ask for a better burger.

Kind of expensive, but was it worth it? A resounding YES! Got one of the best patty melts I ever had, on locally made marble rye. $6 for just the burger, no fries or drink included in that price. Still it was fantastic. I added some hand breaded onion rings, and next to only one other place I've ever gotten... More

My mom and aunt ordered a coke float at $3.59...they were handed a cup with a very small scoop of ice cream! Really??? I ordered a cheeseburger that was very good but fries were not hot at all. A big disappointed overall.

When we travel, we prefer to try local restaurants before going to the chains. To our knowledge, TJs in New Braunfels, TX is the only restaurant in the family. Stopped in on Friday for dinner. At the suggestion of the cashier, we decided to have the "All You Can Eat Catfish Dinner". My husband selected one of the beers from... More

Have been here numerous times and have always had a good meal but this last meal was very disappointing. Had the CFS which was not very tasty, it was rather plain tasting. The size was supposed to be large but seemed small as compared to a typical CFS. Others had a hamburger and they real enjoyed it.

For a fast food-ish burger joint, I love this place. The menu is extensive and you can get a great burger (load it up with lettuce, tomatoes, etc yourself) or chicken sandwich, fried fish, or yummy hot sandwiches (The Alien is one of my faves, with meats, black olives, cheese, lettuce, tomato, etc). The fries are good. There are several... More
