The food wasn't bad, it just had no flavor. The Sauerbraten was not sour and neither was the red cabbage. The spaetzel was like cardboard. The tomatoes in the salad were not ripe and had not flavor. Very disappointing. Overheard the waitress tell others that they were out of most deserts. Bread is not served with dinner.

I was eating German kraut, homemade noodles, and sausages while listening to German music in the background. It was great!

We enjoyed a very good German dinner here. The waitress made us laugh. Not real personable. A very curt German lady. She was all business. No small talk from her. Lol

My wife and I had the Hunter lunch plate, the pork schnitzel. We asked for the brown onion gravy on the side, glad we did,it was very greasy and not that flavorful. The schnitzel was very dry and seemed overcooked. My fries were good as was the cucumber salad. My wife's spaetezele was passable and the red cabbage was very... More

This place has the best German food! Hey have a more authentic experience than some other places. Their beers are all German beers some are hard to find.

I lived in Berlin, Germany for several years had Rouladen (key ingredients for stuffing are bacon and onions) many times in various parts of Germany. As it was one of my favorite dishes my German Mother-In -Law taught me how to make it and the key ingredients for the stuffing were can you guess...yes bacon and onions. So on a... More

This place is staffed by some of the rudest people I have ever encountered in service. First, no live German music as advertised. Second, no potato pancakes ever though they are on the menu. At this point we decided not to stay to eat but the waitress had just delivered our drinks. I said I would pay for the beer... More

We had a family lunch here. There were about 8 of us. It wasn't very busy, and after eating there, I think I know why. Service was okay, but waitress could've been a bit more friendly. Food was just so-so; certainly not good enough that I would go back there.

We went on a Friday Night. I raved about the Fried Mash Potatoes--they look like large fried cheese sticks and are delicious. Only had them once since they always run out. I even told the server that if it is something people love and order a lot then they should make more-- no response seemed to be annoyed at my... More

Should have known when we noticed the tables stocked only with French's yellow mustard. We had to request German mustard, they brought us two shots of bad German mustard and charged $0.90 each. The terrible reviews are spot on. Should have read them first instead of relying on rank and photos. The food looks like German food but it's not... More
