We had two of the lunch specials and the brisket tacos were something special. The refried black beans seemed a little too salty, but overall the food was good. I liked how they put poblano peppers in their cabbage slaw. Definitely a Texas take on Mexican food. It was super busy and loud during the lunch hour, but I want... More

Great atmosphere, nice wait staff and some delicious food. Excellent outdoor eating area, very nice place to go without having to break the bank.

We went here for the first time with friends as we have been interested as it is always busy at dinnertime. The place was dimly lit and a bit on the noisy side. Typical Tex-mex menu items. Service was good until they bring you the check and then they disappear. Salsa and chips were fair as the chips were a... More

The Guacamole made at the table is fantastic! The entrees we had were good, but nothing spectacular.

It all depends on the server you get! There is one guy there who really doesn't listen or care and then you have a couple of women servers there that always go the extra mile. Sometimes you will get hot fresh chips and then you might get stale, bottom of the barrel chips. The Brisket tacos are amazing and my... More

There are a ton of Mexican restaurants to choose from in Plano and this one is becoming one of our regular stops. It's what I consider to be 'comfort food'. The ingredients are fresh, well prepared and consistently good. The atmosphere is very casual and when the weather is nice, it's fun to sit outside on the front patio (even... More

I was really surprised after reading so many great reviews of this place. My food was bland and boring. Nothing really stood out as great. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, but the waiter we had acted perturbed to serve us and they weren't busy at all. I have had much better Mexican food in the Dallas area. I... More

Enjoyed a quiet dinner for 2 on a Thursday evening. No wait for a table. Scrumptious chunky guacamole, prepared tableside. Both of diners were very pleased with combo order of Tomatillo chicken enchilada & brisket taco. Both items terrific. Yucatan slaw complimented well. Beautiful and delicious Tres Leches cake ordered for dessert, tallest I've ever seen. Pleasurable neapolitan style was... More
