This is a very nice restaurant. It can become awfully loud around the dinner and cocktail hours with the piano player and bar crowd. It is very popular spot to meet and greet. The food is dependably excellent, if pricey. Our server was anxious to turn our table over initially, but eased off as the evening progressed. It is a... More

Good beef, good seafood, good wine list. Nightly piano bar. Very popular dining room and bar---with a glowing red top. You can be a comfy cozy or formal as you want in this restaurant and it is a destination for many groups for holidays and special events.

I have found Steve Fields to be hit and miss. From the name, I would expect them to be experts on how to cook a great steak. My experience last night proved that wrong. Having a reservation and arriving on time, I would expect my table to be ready when we arrived. However, we had to wait "while our table... More

Small yet powerful in a classical "kitchie" way, with service that harkens back to the days when restaurants were properly staffed. How often have you said, "I'd pay for better service." or "I'd pay for better food" or "I'd pay for a place to eat that didn't sound like a bus station". Well, this is it in Plano, Texas. No... We took our family there 11 of us) for Easter dinner. We love this restaurant. Grandkids and most of family had steaks. I had Alaskan king crab - my favorite meal of all time. Salads, side items and that great rosemary bread! Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, Steve came out with birthday cake desserts. He's the... More

Started off at the bar. Very nice - lighting is very interesting and the entertainment was nice. Drinks were good, although I could tell they used a commercially purchased sweet & sour mixer. Would have been off the chart had they made their own sweet & sour mixer from scratch. Still good, but I've had better. Started off sharing a... More

Had the New York strip, brilliantly cooked, nicely charred on the outside and succulent in the middle, a perfectly cooked medium steak. Sides are great too. Can be very busy so booking ahead is a good idea. You can hang out in the lounge to secure a booth if you don't want to make a reservation. Desserts are also amazing,... More

Beautiful ambiance for fine dining, special celebrations or happy hour with the girls. Live pianist in bar area along with drink & app specials M-F. Dinner was amazingly delicious. I opted for succulent scallops paired with whipped sweet potatoes & sautéed spinach while my dining partner went big with their 22oz Chop! We enjoyed everything immensely. Our server Stewart was...
