Have been to both Salt Lick locations. Have also tried probably 75% of all BBQ joints in the area. S&L ranks in my list of the 5 best area BBQ joints.

Excellent barbecue and service on a picnic table setting (inside) with cool air conditioning. There is also same setting outside with at times live performers. All delicious. All fun. Priced normal and again barbecue is perfecty delicious. Not over smoked either.
It's good. the family thing is a whole lot of food. It'll make you sick, to much food and you can't stop. Stay away from it. The bread is awesome, the potater salad, not so much unless you like german style. Beans are great,
