During the escort to our seats, I saw a waitress carrying the most amazing looking onion rings--they were large slices of rings. We ended up ordering some and, as predicted, they were delicious. So began our lunch at Tookie's. After being seated, we ordered an appetizer of fried pickle chips and found they were fantastic--using the same batter (assumed) as... More

Stopped him Here for a late lunch at a friend's recommendation and it was wow! Fresh, fresh ingredients and yummy. Fried jalapeños are hot but yummy. Must visit if you are in the area and be prepared to wait. We went after lunch around 3p wait was still 25 to 30 mins but so worth it! And our waitress was... More

We had the pelican eggs, which are jalapeno poppers with bacon- they were amazing! I had a burger with tater tots. The burger is delicious, a simple home style burger with nothing too crazy. Just the meat, lettuce, mayo, onions and bun. It goes well with their frozen mojito, which I enjoyed sitting outside on their large patio.

Tookies has been the cornerstone of home style like burgers for years and is a top favorite across 4 generations of my family. I personally love "The Squealer" with cheese but the "#99" is a family favorite especially with the ladies. The portions on French fries and onion rings are unbelievably huge and just as delicious. We were definitely glad... More

Always a great place to go for a great hamburger. The Stomps Ice House Special is a nice hamburger with a kick. I have enjoyed this since the 70's.

I am a local and we really enjoy going to Tookies when we are in the mood for a hamburger. If you don't eat beef (like me) the "Gobbler" is their Turkey Burger and it is to die for!!! I find myself craving it. Don't even eat turkey? They have an amazing fish sandwich and several other things on the... More

I love the burgers here. The "stomps" and the "bean burger" are our favorites. The onion rings are great too. A must if you are visiting Seabrook, TX.
