Pizza came highly recommended but for take out it was average. Not sure if eating there and having a cold beer would have been better, thinking so...

They have early bird choices along with a very nice menu. I enjoy different beers, so was happy to try a couple of their own brews.

Stopped by to try the local brews and ended up having dinner too. Beers were good, nicely done. Had one of their burgers as well. It was good.

Got to our condo check in late — found this excellent venue open and hopping w/ patrons. Our waiter was very helpful friendly and attentive. We ordered one of the signature pizzas — totally amazing. This place is right on the main drag running north...More

Title says it all. Food was ok, and so is the beer, but the acoustics need some fine tuning. On the day we were there, it was busy, but we got a seat right away. Unfortunately, it was so loud in the restaurant you had...More

They were very busy this Saturday, but the servers were incredible! The rib special was mediocre, fries limp and onion rings greasy and overpriced. We’ve been there before for the fish special and will stick to that next time!

The food was excellent. The service was adequate but the ambience is lacking, It is incredibly loud, we felt sorry for the servers.

Really enjoyed our meal tonight. We had the two for one fish special which was wonderful. Plenty of food and too much to eat. But we loved it. Definitely will be back! Good service!

I always like the selection of food on the menu and the prices are not bad. The service sometimes is not the best. It can be a little noisy if the restaurant is busy, but overall I like this place.

You can get whatever you want here. The Brewing Co is known for its baby back ribs and pizza. Lots of people come here for seafood too. Don't miss the handcrafted beers. They are seasonal and all very good.

We took our baby granddaughter there with our family, however, I do not recommend going upstairs when you do that. It smells heavily of cigarette smoke........ we made them find us a table downstairs.

Description
"The gastropub movement is well-represented on South Padre Island at Padre Island Brewing Company. Rotating draft selections include several styles of handcrafted suds; Texas Long Board Lager, Tailing Red Amber, and Speckled Trout Stout are among my favorites, when available. If you can’t make up your mind, get the “Sampler Tray,” a tasting of all five beers currently on tap. The menu is extensive—“peel and eat” shrimp, spicy wings, and fried calamari are popular appetizers, as are the chips-and-guacamole combo, ceviche, and nachos. The bar has won an award for its pizza, but I recommend the burgers. If you’re really hungry, order the Texas Burger, a double-patty, one-pound monster topped with jalapenos, mushrooms, and cheese. From the seafood menu, beer-battered shrimp is an obvious choice, and the tuna and flounder are also excellent." From Texas Highways Magazine, June 2015
