From the moment we walked in the door, the service was incredible. We ordered a half order of the crab stuffed mushrooms. They were GREAT. When we were done, here comes 2 more....big ones. Our waiter who I am assuming is the owner said...."I thought...More

We tasted 4 (free tasting) ales. Ended up with 2. The shrimp basket was a great price. Beans and shrimp were great, coleslaw and fries were not good. Noisy sports bar atmosphere.

There were 5 beers on tap – they were ok. We had lunch here (deep fried cheese curds/pickles, pizza and salad). Everything was just middle of the road: not great and not bad. We were hoping it would be better than it was since it...More

The only micro brewery on SPI. It is just an opened room with tables, very loud and no atmosphere. Prices are a bit high but your are on SPI. One strange thing is that there is no waitress station. We were there later evening and...More

The place was nice and beer and food was reasonable priced except the bacon wrapped shrimp. at $25 for 5 pieces of shrimp! That was ridiculous. Other than that the food was good, Po Boy, Pizza, Burger, and even the overpriced shrimp was good. I...More

They had a $1 Hamm's spring break special! This had alot of young people in the place. The beers were pretty good and they had other people's beer which helped. We did not eat here so can't speak of that.

My family and I visited this place for the first time during Spring Break 2018. We found the food to be delicious and the atmosphere inviting. I ordered a beer sampler and enjoyed all of their brews except for the porter as porters and stouts...More

This is a restaurant with many beer choices & a range of medium priced food entrees. The raw oysters are lovely - very clean and a “happy hour” special- .50 per. Also delightful is the tuna (shishimi) salad. The service was great.

We took our baby granddaughter there with our family, however, I do not recommend going upstairs when you do that. It smells heavily of cigarette smoke........ we made them find us a table downstairs.

"The gastropub movement is well-represented on South Padre Island at Padre Island Brewing Company. Rotating draft selections include several styles of handcrafted suds; Texas Long Board Lager, Tailing Red Amber, and Speckled Trout Stout are among my favorites, when available. If you can’t make up your mind, get the “Sampler Tray,” a tasting of all five beers currently on tap. The menu is extensive—“peel and eat” shrimp, spicy wings, and fried calamari are popular appetizers, as are the chips-and-guacamole combo, ceviche, and nachos. The bar has won an award for its pizza, but I recommend the burgers. If you’re really hungry, order the Texas Burger, a double-patty, one-pound monster topped with jalapenos, mushrooms, and cheese. From the seafood menu, beer-battered shrimp is an obvious choice, and the tuna and flounder are also excellent." From Texas Highways Magazine, June 2015
