The best barbecue in Houston! Flavorful and tender! The line could extend out pass the rail, but it's worth the wait!

I first started enjoying Rudy's bar-b-que when I would visit my daughter at UT in Austin Tx. I was excited when they opened a location in Houston. They serve sides like potato salad, beans, corn etc but in Houston make no mistake about we eat there for the delicious tender smoked meats. My favorite is the moist brisket but I... More
The food is very flavorful at Rudy's. Many options of meat with great sides. Most of the menu is gluten free as well and they have an index that lets you know about most allergens.
Invited my friends from Alabama when they stopped in to visit me. They loved it, Also, the fact that they cater to Gluten free was a plus.
There are quite a few Rudy's in town, and the good thing is that all of them are the same and the food tastes entirely alike in any of their locations. Corn on the Cob flavor varies from season to season.

I have nothing bad to say about Rudys - every location I have been is top notch. If I could eat there 7 days a week I would. Its awesome!!!!! I skip every other BBQ joint and go straight to Rudys - nothing compares.....nothing....

We had the moist brisket, ribs and jalapeño smoked sausages, All DELICIOUS! We also loved the sides...they have corn... More
3/2/17 My mom wanted a baked potato for lunch so I went to Rudy's. It was lunch time and very busy. I had to wait in the line but it did move at a good pace. I ordered the Smoked potato...$4.49 and one with meat for my mom...$6.99 These were the biggest potatoes I have ever gotten from Rudy's and... More
Everyone else gave accurate reviews, however you can order any amount, not just even increments. First time samples helped immensely. Pork loin too dry, pulled pork too sweet, Turkey, just right. Moist and fat free. Loud country music was not tops in my list. Parking lot always crowded. Everything is ala carte, so it can get pricey. Pluses are quick... More
