Everything we had was delicious. Steak and eggs plus a short stack of butter pecan pancakes. We shared and we're both stuffed because not one morsel remained on our plates!

We have eaten at Megg's many times and have always had a great experience. The food and service are consistently excellent. Because it is so good, we often have to wait to be seated--but it is worth the wait.
I've been eating here regularly since they opened. Food is locally sourced as much as possible. Specials are always good, bread is made on site. I usually get the soup of the day. Spaghetti is excellent!!
First time in Temple and I was fortunate enough to find this nice spot close to my client's site for lunch. Nice atmosphere, good service and VERY GENEROUS portions top my list (not necessarily in that order). Excellent value to boot.
I ate the Fall salad. It was a treat for my taste buds. All kinds of lettuce with feta cheese and a dressing of balsamic vinegar and honey. What a great combination. The crusty bread was hot and very good!!!!!!
The food at Megg's Cafe and Hamilton Bread is tasty. Its ingredients come from local farms. The only problem is that service can run kind of slow, even when there aren't many customers. Most of the time I get their food to go. There is no time problem with that, because I wait a while before going to pick it... More
