We had the venison and wild boar sausage appetizer. Very good. I had the filet and Charlie had the ribeye. Both were cooked perfectly. We got a piece of pecan pie to go and really enjoyed it. The margarita was great. Charlie had a local beer and enjoyed. Our server was very good. The live entertainment was good. We would... More

The Starlight lived up to all the hype. There was a line to get when we got in line before they opened at 5pm. We were lucky and got their last table and didn't have to wait for one to open up. The restaurant filled up immediately upon opening! The food was amazing...the drinks were awesome..and the service was incredible... More

After a week in Big Bend national park, hiking and camping, I was happy to finally be in a hotel and get some real food! Check my other reviews to see where else I'd been. I had heard so many good things about the Starlight Theater, I saved it for my last night and went all out! I tried their... More

We were in Texas for a week and this was our favorite place to eat. There is almost always a wait but the views from the porch are so spectacular it doesn't matter. The food is consistently good but you're really going for the overall vibe of authentic West Texas.

Other than Candelilla in Lajitas resort, the Starlight was the best in Terlingua. The ambiance was great (pretty authentic as well) the food good, the drinks good and the service staff superb !! Loved the local musicians outside on the sidewalk.....everyone was SO friendly! Will go back.....

After spending the day hiking with my brother (11miles with a 2600 ft elevation change) we drove to Terlingua to experience the Starlight Theatre. We arrived around 5 pm to have a beer and shop a wee bit before dinner. Once inside the restaurant, we were promptly seated and served another cold beer. We both chowed downed on the antelope... We enjoyed our dinner here, service was good, great atmosphere, good food. I had the salmon, it was terrific, hubby had the brisket and said it was good as well. There was live music too. It's a very old building, lots of western theme decor, kinda funky old western, we thought it was a fun place, not fancy but good... More

I love this place! Have a fantastic menu and the service was just as good! Had no wait when we went in. We started off with the fried boar with gravy which was way better than I had expected! I had the pork chipotle that was spicy but just perfect! Would highly recommend this place.
