This place has great food, prices and service. Everything on the menu is awesome from the food all the way to the coffee, chips and salsa. Their hours are from 8 am 2 pm. This was the best Mexican food place in Texas city years ago when it was elnopalito. Not worth your time and money anymore would not recommend anything on menus.

This authentic Mexican restaurant has exceptional service and phenomenal food. The proprietor was friendly and entertaining and waited on us personally at the location at 5001 Broadway in Galveston.

I have been coming here for a long time ; the breakfast starts at 5:00am and the food is very good.....the lunchs are good also and the people that run the place are nice folks......aka MADDOG....

I came here before for bteakfast, I was impressed of the quality of the food. I came back again some time later only to find the exact same high level of home cooking in a restaurant; very rare. The food was delicious!

My family used to enjoy eating breakfast here after church, but the last couple of times we couldn't stomach the Huge Pile of Bright yellow eggs. This restaurant is from a family that has had restaurants in Galveston for 50+years and have been the place to go. I think this is the only one left and it is run by... More
