The atmosphere was really great but the traffic and construction made it difficult to get into. However, because of this is wasn't crowded. I ordered the pepper and cheese stuffed shrimp wrapped in bacon, mostly because I have never seen this on a menu before. But it was amazing. It was so cheesy and crisp, and the shrimp were huge.... Great location with a view of the lake. They have outside seating with a view and heaters in the winter. Staff is good and courteous. Salsa and chips are fresh. Enchiladas and tacos are excellent. The fajita chicken in taco salad is great and the salsa comes with queso and beans. We eat there often.

I have always been impressed with this location since I started coming two years ago. The service is exceptional and the food delicious. Their salsa has a good flavor and we love to order queso that comes with fresh tortillas as well. I particularly enjoy the burrito dinner and my boyfriend always orders the chimichanga. Definitely recommend for lunch or... More

Went on a Friday early evening before the crowds. Our waiter spilled a glass of water when bringing our drinks. Thankfully it spilled only on him. I had the patron plate and asked specifically if any of the items had peppers in them and was told they did not. As it turned out, two of the items did have peppers,... More

We must have come at a moment they were short staffed or not adequately managed. Plenty of tables available and no one greeted us promptly. Don't know where the staff was. After getting a table, we noticed next table not being served. They complained to a manager and left. But when our server came, she did a good job. Also... More

We went last night and we enjoyed it. The salsa could have been a little more spicy but it was good. The service was fast and courteous. My wife got the avocado bomb and tortilla soup and she loved it. I got the beef fajitas and they were very good. The tortillas tasted homemade. It was pretty good. We almost... More

The food was fine, average. The service was chaotic, but average. I would go back, but I would not drive across town to do so.

This wouldn't be my first choice for Mexican food in The Colony. We've come here a handful of times because we want to eat in a quieter atmosphere compared to the likes of Rosa's Cafe. The food isn't anything spectacular, and the pricing seems fair for the portions. The crowd is a good mix of families and older couples. When... More

It's definitely a staple in The Colony. Great "Mexican Food", decent peices, attentive staff. My parents always come in from out of town and want to eat here. Check them out

We frequent this restaurant with our children. Usually weekly. It's been a favorite of mine for over 25 years. They make their tortillas and salsa in house and I've never found a better salsa at any restaurant. The prices are very affordable and the view of the lake is breathtaking. Especially from both the indoor and the outdoor patios.
