Very romantic evening setting. My wife and I had a great time because the staff were very knowledgeable and responsive to special requests. The wine and food were also excellent.

My wife and I had the privilege of taking our son and our two granddaughters to a delightful birthday celebration dinner last Friday night. Anna, turning 14, had requested a "good italian restaurant," and I immediately anticipated pizza and spaghetti. Instead, we found Via Emila to offer great osso buco, veal ala lemone, and a great wine list. And, the... More
We have reviewed this excellent restaurant before but you need to know this! Yesterday at lunch we both ordered the Melanzna di Parmigiana and it is the best we have ever had, including our trips to Italy! You gotta try it!
We looked forward to the wine dinner with great friends. We'd recently been in Napa and we've experienced many wine dinner pairings at restaurants across the country. The price per person was $185 (not including tax or tip)and this raised our expectations. The evening got off to a slow start: no nibbles or wine for over ten minutes. The wine... More
Since we live nearby, my wife have been to Via Emilia's Italian Restaurant several times. This past month, my wife and I went alone, and we were also part of a party of six. The first time was mid-week, and the second visit was on a Sunday. During mid-week, the restaurant got quite busy, so it is obvious that it... More
If you are a gluten free family you often skip past the Italian restaurants. We went as a family on a recommendation from a friend and they were very knowledgeable and able to accommodate us. Most of the non braised entrees were fine, all the fish and several other choices. The pasta was linguini which was quite nice and not... More
After reading the glowing reviews on this restaurant my husband and I decided to try it. The restaurant decor was very lovely and I service was excellent, so I can see the appeal for a romantic dinner. The garlic bread and salads were good. The main course was a big disappointment. Pasta sauce was extremely bland. I can make better... More
After reading tons of excellent reviews on TripAdvisor we were excited to dine here. Went in on a Saturday afternoon around 2:00 pm. Only two other tables occupied. We figured because it was too late for lunch and far too early for dinner. The service was a bit slow. We ordered a drink and the minestrone. The soup was very... More
My wife and I had been meaning to try this restaurant for some time and when we did so we were not disappointed. I was so impressed with the decor once we were inside the restaurant. Great place to celebrate an event as a family or as just a couple. We had prosciutto to start with French onion soup and... More
No doubt one of the best restaurants in The Woodlands. Do not miss this. Make sure you make a reservation. Ask for the homemade Lemoncello at the end of your meal.
