Great steakhouse. Fresh baked bread, large dinner salad, exceptional steaks. Service was also excellent.

Took wife and friends to Salt grass on I- 45 south and the food was great. Their steaks are cooked to perfection and taste was really good. The Rib eyes are so tender you can cut with a fork. Get a salad and potatoes with the steak and this will fill you up.
One would think that eating steaks in Texas is something where you can't go wrong. And then there is Salt Grass. I didn't choose this restaurant, and honestly I don't know why we chose it anyway. The filets were dry as a bone, and even though ordered medium, the edges were more than well done and dry, but the center... More
My family and I visited the Saltgrass Steak House at Webster to treat my husband a nice early dinner for his birthday. Lots of good Texan choices here, with the bread (normal and gluten-free), the Wagyu steak and the babyback ribs particularly recommended. Very noisy and service a bit slow at times, but friendly and helpful. We would happily return.
The food was good but service and out come was well below average for an establishment such as this. Our order was place and confirmed 3 times by waiter. When it was served it was wrong. The waiter did not check with us about the food till sometime later. TO LATE BY THEN! The manager came out at the end... More
Went for a celebration. In the mood for a steak. Wife had filet and I had NY strip. Cooked as requested. Flavor was good, not exceptional. Get the baked sweet potato. Had one with cinnamon butter the other plain. Both were excellent, not dry and big. Brought half home for dinner the next evening. Very good experience.
I went to Saltgrass with my daughter and her fiancé for dinner. We enjoyed drinks and dinner along with appetizers. The menu offers a variety of dishes that will please your appetite! The service was exceptional as well as the décor! This is a must see if you are visiting in Texas!
They get A's in all categories. Iced tea is fresh brewed and of course very good. Salad plates are chilled which is a must. Steaks were very good and cooked as ordered. Nothing better than a good tender steak with a little butter on top, Sides were very good. The veggies were cooked just right and not over cooked like... More
