I hate having to give this 2/5 because the food was very good, but after seating our party and we waited 1.5 hours to get it, constantly had to go to the bar to ask where our drinks and tea refills were, and then to have a member of our party not even get his order of a Shrimp Po-Boy... More

We like to have lunch or dinner at the location when in the area. Service is good as well as the food. Very nice place to eat and very clean. Wait staff has always been very nice.

We travel I-10 frequently and always plan a stop at Al-T's for some delicious food! We made that stop today and were gravely disapponted!! The buffet is gone, the menu is smaller, and old favorites are gone and forgotten! We ALWAYS order the boudain nuggets and the bacon wrapped oysters or shrimp - GONE! The delicious crackers with butter -... More

The restaurant was changing management in a few days, so they were out of oysters and Some other things. My wife just raved about the fried tomato bits! The grease they used for frying didn't taste fresh, maybe it was because of the change Servers were good and we were served promptly.

I had the crab cakes and they were some of the best I've ever had. Lots of crab and not much filler. They were short staffed but our waitress was excellent.

I was first introduced to Al T's in the late 80's and the food is still the best. After a day of birding at High Island we were lucky enough to find a parking space at this popular restaurant. Yes, we gourged on fried stuff! Their food is never greasy, cooked and seasoned to perfection. My son first had fried... More

Entering the restaurant, it was very busy, with a few small tables empty, and looked like a fun place, but I was given a table in a corridor, where there was zero atmosphere. Mt server introduced himself as Matt, and also wrote it down on a piece of paper dripping with fat. Perhaps so I could remember his name, which... More

It's a lot of fried food but if you love seafood then this is your place. I'm celiac, so it was a bit torturous for me, but I had grilled shrimp, mashed potatoes (no gravy) green beans and a salad with homemade ranch dressing.

We travel to Texas once a year on business and have always stopped at Al T's in Winnie for some good Cajun food. Last nights visit was a disaster. When we entered there was a crowd waiting for tables and the young lady seating diners was not up to the job. It took about 15 minutes for her to work... More

We have eaten at Al T's before when in the area and I think this visit was probably my least favorite. I had the Seafood Gumbo which was pretty good and my husband had the Etoufee which was good. We ordered the crab meat stuffed jalapeno poppers and were disappointed that for $7.99 there were only 4 and one of... More
