Just walking in the door sends a message that this is how bars used to be. Nothing fancy and very good bar food. See it for the color if nothing else.

My family came to Utah to visit, and I hate taking them somewhere to eat that they could go back home. I thought what cooler and more unique spot is there to eat at than the Shooting Star Saloon? Sure it's off the beaten path, but the trip through canyon and around Pineview Reservoir only adds to adventure. Once you're... More

This establishment has been in Huntsville for a long time. It Has about 15,000 to 20,000 dollar bills on the ceiling. It has a very limited menu of hamburgers and a good hot dog. We had lunch, burgers, dogs, beer, ice tea and a Diet Coke. The atmosphere is really cool, but not much choice with menu items. It is... More

Straight forward burger and beer bar. Come in, get a great burger and beer. No other liquor or full bar, but the food is excellent and the beer is cold.

The history of this place makes people want to go. But, service is terrible, you get a burger & potato chips and beer. If you are into the menu, it may be worth it, but I always shudder when friends want to go there.

No visit is complete without a stop at the Shooting Star Saloon in Huntsville, Utah. We never miss it after a ski outing at Snowbasin. Make sure you order a Starburger for a meal of a lifetime and a pitcher of Shootingstar amber beer. This place has history and everyone is friendly. However, don’t smart off to the bartender or... As others have said this saloon is an experience out of yesteryear. Great burgers for low-low prices. Long wait for food, but worth the wait. Soup to nuts on the walls. Graffiti covered walls in the restrooms. Laid back atmosphere. Would go back.

A real local place, not a ski town restaurant. The staff was really friendly and skiers are welcome. Great atmosphere. The menu has burgers and beer. That's it. Burgers were good. The prices very reasonable.

The place is old school cool. The ceiling is plastered with dollar bills. It has a jukebox with a lot of throwback tunes. The beers were cold. The burgers were tasty.

oldest saloon pub in Utah , or so the legend goes. The place is a must visit for beer lovers and people that like an ole style jukebox . Famous for the slightly low alcohol beer and Star burger. the owner is freindly and helpful and the roof is covered in $ bills. once again- this is a beer only... More
