Fine dining in this wonderful little restaurant. Housemade bread appetizer was exceptional. Pork chop was thick, well seasoned and well cooked. Service was excellent.

I stumbled in for my first visit years ago and to this day I never visit or pass through Kanab without stopping in for food at the Rocking V. It's just so so good. Great service, friendly staff and the quality, variety, and preparation of everything on the menu are off the charts. They even have local art along the... More

We had a fabulous dinner at this Cafe. I tried the Buffalo Meatball and Hubby had Southwestern Catfish Tacos. Loved the atmosphere, food was delicious and our server, Derek, was great. Could not ask for a better meal while in Kanab.

The wait staff is extremely friendly and the food is pretty good! The only negative is the food is a bit pricey for the area.

We really enjoyed our meal at this cafe. Service was good, atmosphere inviting and art gallery upstairs wonderful. Notice all the artwork on the walls. For a price you can take one home. Our Kanab burger and mac and cheese meals were very good. Both were served with salads, green and black bean. Desserts looked very delicious but we were... More

After hiking the Wave on my birthday my wife and I had dinner at Rocking V Cafe. Soooo good!! I had pork chop which was great, my wife had couscous cakes. Save room for dessert, key lime pie and bread pudding are both excellent!!

My wife and I both enjoyed our meal and had excellent service. A bit higher than other like restaurants for price but still worth it for the quality of food. Nice setting with the "antique" ambiance given that the building is from the '20's. Everything was clean including the bathrooms. We'd certainly eat there again when in Kanab.

I've eaten here four times mainly because of lack of options. I really wanted to like this place. The food is way overpriced for what it is quality wise. Unfortunately this restaurant is a tourist trap for the desperate unknowing traveler. This concept feels cheap with its canned food and frozen-fresh menu items. This place is played out and stagnant.... More

Lovely restaurant in downtown Kanab. We always eat at the Rocking V when in town. The menu varies and is always good. Locals, as well as tourists eat at this establishment. Wine choice is a small, but good. Patio is open to well behaved dogs in the warmer weather. when in town.

We set out to create a fun place to eat great food, served by really friendly people, in a relaxifying atmosphere, surrounded by cool art & good music. Simple. We want our place to be a spot where you can come and have a wonderful time after a fantastic day of hiking, a long day of driving, or a lazy, waste-lots-of-time-doing-nothin' day & find an oasis of enjoyment for your senses. There's a reason we don't have WiFi. Chill. Exhale. Sit. Listen. Look around. Power down. Kill the phone. Stow the tablet. Talk to the people you're dining with. Talk to the people sitting next to you. Enjoy your meal. Don't rush.(Unless you've been at the table for three hours, then you need to: eat it & beat it!. And no, we don't mean eat the table, that would take a long time and the splinters are hard to digest). Smile.
