We had reservations for dinner and to stay the night. We planned to be there earlier but had mechanical problems delayed us. We arrived 10 mins before the restaurant closed and the 2 women working cooked us a wonderful dinner. They were very kind and...More

My dining experience was ruined when I saw the owner of this restaurant slap our waitress on her buttocks with his left hand. I was stunned when I saw it happen, and I would have nothing to do with this this establishment ever again.

Call ahead of time with four or more people. Great food, atmosphere, personality, and the aim to please. Next time I'll rent a room to cheaper than Moab and clean rooms.

We were treated rudely for having a party of 8, not making a reservation and that could not combine tables as others were coming to eat. Will never recommend this place or attempt to go again.

This restaurant & Inn is quit a gem. You can't see it from the highway but the turn around and look closer is well worth it. The restaurant is extremely charming & if you need a place to stay the rooms are small but picturesque...More

We walked in and Johnny Cash was softly singing over the speakers. An older couple was walking out. She was smiling. Chewing on a toothpick, he put his cowboy hat on. We both squinted and nodded to each other as we passed, and I knew...More

The food was terrific, and plentiful. I had the cedar plank salmon (farmed atlantic) and he had the pork filet. Both were excellent and served with an abundant amount of "roughlock potatoes" which were quartered reds served with (i think) a little chili verde. All...More

We loved our dinner at the Line Camp Steakhouse: an honest home-cooked meal, lovingly prepared with fresh ingredients in a super-atmospheric setting, pleasant service—what else could one want? Who goes to Monticello for fine dining? You go there to see the Needles part of Canyonlands...More

It is very easy to miss the entrance. If you can, go in the daylight for a recon. Heading south from Monticello it's on your right. Good choice.
