The pretzel rolls and sauerkraut are shipped directly from Germany and are the best I've ever tasted! The owners mix up a pretty tasty cold potato salad too. I will definitely enjoy the two hour drive to dine there again. Artwork by local artists dot the walls and of course I purchased one! A delightful little joint.

This delicious restaurant has us hooked! Their Reuben sandwich is amazing, as is everything else we've tried!

I had a German sausage in a pretzel bun. Best sour crout and horseradish combination ever. Super good. Best potato salad in the universe. All the ingredients were finely chopped with fresh dill and bacon.

This was my second visit to Das Cafe. It was just as yummy as my last visit. I had a Ruben sandwich with potato salad and carrot cake. I was so full, I could not finish the cake, but it made a fantastic treat later on! I was told it is family owed and operated! Kudos! I will definitely eat... More

Very tiny cafe, but this explains the excellent service and food as well. The Owner was there and turned 75 years old today 5/3/2016. Very friendly place.

A must try when in Sanpete County. Everything on the menu is delicious. Be sure to try the potato salad (you wont regret it). And don't forget to have some Carrot Cake!

We very much enjoyed our visit to Das Cafe. The food was delicious. I had the German sausage and eggs, with potatoes and toast, while my children loved the Belgium Waffle, topped with strawberries and whipped cream. I would definitely return for another meal.

Incredibly flavorful sauerkraut without the excessive vinegar common to American kraut? Check. Juicy, slightly spicy sausage with a satisfying snap to the casing? Check. Authentic German potato salad with the secret ingredient, toasted caraway seed? Check. What could be better? How about topping a burger with the kraut and brie and serving it alongside the potato salad. Genius. It is... More
