This is a great place to eat when you are in a group or bringing your teenagers. They can get pub food, you can get something a little more interesting. The atmosphere is a bit noisy and more than a bit busy, and parking is a challenge, but it's worth it.

I visited with a group of 7, mid afternoon on a Tuesday. The burgers and sweet potatoes fries were excellent. It's worth a stop just to check out the decor and memorabilia. Be sure to use the bathroom upstairs so you can see the restoration up there.

Diner food with an interesting menu. Large portions. Great Philly Steak & Cheese. Surprisingly wide gluten free options. Good American style with a bit too much salt. Wonderful firehouse memorabilia. If you are in Barre, it is worth at least one visit.

This restaurant was a bit pricey but it was really good. I had the fish and chips. The fries were extremely good! Also the inside is very pretty!

Ordered lasagna, but they had none! So had french onion soup (good) and garlic bombs (just okay) instead. DH ordered a chicken parm sub and only ate half. He was feeling a little under the weather, but said the chicken was burned. Service was very good. The place was busy and quite noisy.

Visiting the area from New Jersey and this place was recommended by the desk clerk from the hotel where we were staying. The inside of the restaurant was inviting and friendly. Our server was very pleasant and tended to our every need in a timely manner. The food was served quickly, hot, and exactly as described. The food tasted fabulous... More

We arrived at 6pm on a Saturday night and were seated right away (word of warning - parking is poor at best). on the menu was a nice selection of burgers, pizza, pasta, etc. My daughter asked the waitress if the haddock had been previously frozen and received a lecture about fresh vs frozen and how frozen is always better;... My wife and I had dinner here and found the atmosphere "laid back" and our hostess was very pleasant.

The service was very good. The menu was very large, many choices. The atmosphere was relaxed and very 'middle class' The prices were reasonable. We will be back :)

It was a busy Friday night and without reservations we were seated right away. The service was fast and friendly! I had surf and turf (haddock, shrimp, steak) and it was plenty to eat but not too much which is good when you are traveling... no leftovers. I noticed a couple of kids hanging out in the couch area and... More
