Hubby and I had happened on this little gem several years ago and were delighted while traveling on Rt. 7 through Vermont with a Canadian friend to happen upon it again just in time for lunch. We had our choice of seats when we entered...More

The basic menu was diverse and appealing. The specials only added to it. We agreed that we could come back several times and find many great choices. Napoleon of escargot and chèvre salad apps were excellent. Angel hair with scallops wrapped in salmon was great,...More

We diner here regularly and never have been disappointed. The menu changes daily, but the “standbys” remain on the menu. In addition to a wonderful place to dine, Chef Robert offers cooking classes that are fun, informative, and friendly.

Always enjoy our visits at Cafe Provence. I recommend the goat cheese cakes and seafood stew. The Cafe Provence house wine is excellent. Deserts are fantastic! Really nice atmosphere inside or out.

Warm and inviting, casual fine dining at Café Provence is a truly memorable experience. Located in the restored historic section of downtown Brandon, Vermont—Chef Robert Barral, former Executive Chef of the New England Culinary Institute and The Four Seasons in Boston, crafts our seasonal menu to showcase not only his talents as a chef, but also highlight the best meats, cheeses, and vegetables that local farms have to offer.
