Amy’s Bakery Arts Café, a popular spot in downtown Brattleboro, has a somewhat misleading name. Sure, it features baked goods – cheesecakes, baguettes, bear claws, scones, and dozens of other items. But it also serves made-from-scratch soups, sandwiches and savories, and interesting tea and coffee concoctions (try the maple latté: much better than it sounds. The walls are filled with... More

Amy's is always reliable with something for everyone. I especially like all their gluten-free options, but my friends say that the "regular" menu items are wonderful as well! I don't live in Vermont but eat at Amy's whenever I am in or passing through Brattleboro.

Amy's continues to offer good sandwiches, baked goods and soups/salads for breakfast and lunch in Brattleboro. The classic avocado with chicken or tuna salad is wonderful. The daily soups are great. The seating is not always available or clean but with the space, they do the best they can.

There's not too much open on an early Saturday morning in downtown Brattleboro, but this friendly bakery met the need. Nice cup of coffee, cinnamon bun, and view out the back of the Connecticut River and Wantastiquet Mountain across in New Hampshire (worth a climb for an amazing view of town, by the way). Help a small town hang onto... More

We stopped here on the way to Lake Winnepasakke and then again on the way back. That's how much we liked the food. This is a great sandwich soup and sweets place. Loved if

We popped into Amy's for breakfast our first morning, and it was unbelievable!! We enjoyed it so much we had 2 more meals there that weekend. The bonus is the view from the eating area. You can't go to Brattleboro without coming here.

Been here several times and always scrumptious baked treats and fresh brewed coffee. Nice place to hang out and look out the windows.

We stopped in just for a mid afternoon snack /pick me up after a day of walking thru town and shopping. The have soups, salads and delicious looking sandwiches. This is a full service hardworking bakery-cookies, cakes, pies, breads, pastries, etc. The counter help was friendly and helpful.. offeting samples of the soups to the students in front of us..... We stopped for an afternoon treat, the hot cider and chocolate cake was so good I couldn't believe it. I think this is some where to go every time you visit Brattleboro.
