This bar and restaurant has amazing views! Situated right on the water, there are great views from inside, on the lower outside deck, and from the upper outside patio (open in the summer). Delicious pub foods and great beers and drinks. A wonderful place to...More

Whetstone is a brewery and a restaurant. Good selection of brews. Flat Iron steak was perfect size and very tasty. Fried chicken sandwich was a bit bland. Needs some pickup in the batter. Right on the river with outside sitting. Very close to downtown. Staff...More

We were there in the middle of the afternoon, so not a busy time. We were seated quickly and everything was very nice at first. We got water and menus, then waited and waited and waited. Finally our waitress took our order. The food came...More

Good food, Good beer - poor pricing. I ordered a beer for $5.40 - the bill came back at $6.30. I questioned the bartender Jina and she said it was tax of 10% as per VT law. However, pon further checking, she also rang up...More

Initially we chose Whetstone because we arrived late to town and it was one of the few restaurants open until 10:00 in Brattleboro. We came for the convenience but we stayed for the service, the view, and the food. Nick is a fabulous front-of-the-house guy...More

We try to make a point to eat at at least one microbrewery while on vacation and this one did not disappoint. During several visits we had wings, burgers, chili, chicken sandwich, wrap, soup (mushroom & cheddar ale), and all were very good. The house...More

They do offer gluten free rolls and bread. In addition they have clearly marked everything on their menu as either gluten free or able to be prepared gluten free by request. I believe what the other reviewer meant when they... More

Description
Whetstone Station Restaurant and Brewery combines a large casual restaurant and open air rooftop bier garten, with a small experimental nano-brewery, all located right on the Connecticut River in Vermont. We offer an "inspired pub fare" style menu, with everything from small bites for a few bucks to full entrees. Along with one, always changing unique craft beer of their own they offer dozens of guest craft beers on draft and specialty drinks, all in an amazing waterfront location. The unique round building has been restored into a beautiful fire-lit space with a contemporary and industrial vibe. Indoor and outdoor dining, perched above the river, alongside a steel bridge and nestled between the green mountains make the amazing location a "don't miss" on any visit through Vermont.
