This place had a bit of the feel of McSorleys without the sawdust. This brew pub filled up quickly after 5:30 Sunday afternoon. The building is decades old, the faded brick wall and the embossed tin on the ceiling and walls harks back to earlier last century. Their Belgian double IPA was very good. The menu was a surprise. The... More

The atmosphere is great, the place is not spacious, the people are friendly, service is usually good and the food is always fresh.

What a wonderful meal. We started with the fish tacos, celery root and potato pancakes (wonderful), and steak cornish pasty. All good, and could make a meal off the apps. The entrees were terrific - and the beer selections were great Super service, attentive without interrupting. Definitely will repeat on our next visit to Vermont.

My husband and I went away for our baby moon in VT and I was pleased from the moment we first walked in, until we last walked out of the Bobcat Cafe and Brewery. The warm, romantic ambiance was so much better than I anticipated from a "cafe and brewery". The bread and butter was even great. We ordered the... More

This is a restaurant that could be really great if the staff were to pay a little more attention. Five minute wait before we were greeted; drink order mixed up, fixed by going to the barkeep myself; and really nice atmosphere and food. Maybe the service was off as the reputation and food is really good.

Went there on a Friday evening, early, which was a good thing as it filled up pretty fast. While the menu is limited, there is enough variety to appeal to everyone. In our group, we had a pub burger, monk fish, duck, and venison. All were given a thumbs up. Add to that a very good selection of brewed on... More

Well.....where to start? Let's say that my daughter and I sat at a crowded bar and had wonderful conversation with friendly people. the bartender plied me with samples of beer that i had not yet experienced and my daughter felt quite at home. the meal was...mmm, beyond anything i'd ever had, other than my mom's house and Paris, in that... Happened to drive by this great spot just when we got hungry and decided to try it out! So glad we did. The staff is genuinely friendly, the food creative comfort food and the atmosphere that makes you want to linger. Went two nights ago with the same result. Worth a visit!

Awesome quaint pub, the bartender Dana was amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. The Maple Porter and Milk Stout were Delicious, had several. A must go to if visiting Bristol.

A new favorite hangout!!! We had two servers helping us. Both were amazing!! I wish I had gotten their names so I could mention them on here. Both were exceptionally gracious (we were there on a Sunday night). We ordered an iceberg and blue cheese salad (totally amazing), meatloaf, a steak, and mint chocolate ice cream for dessert. I've never... More
