Excellent nachos, the smoky sauce was delicious! Tacos, burritos and rice bowls were all delicious. We arrived early to grab the last booth, so you may have a wait.

This interesting place is tucked off the side of the ever popular Church Street in Burlington. When I say interesting, I mean it in a very good way! Picture a 50's diner ... Now toss a Mexican Restaurant in there .. And, play oldies country! It's quirky enough to work!! We just needed a quick bite and that's exactly what... More

Everytime we visit Burlington the husband and I eat here at least once. The breakfast is amazing, and the dinner is so fresh and delicious. The margaritas are made from fresh lime juice, in house made simple syrup and tasty tequila. All the food tastes quite fresh and authentic. We recently moved further west in Canada so won't get to... This place was a great place for dinner...a decent number of vegetarian meals done well (the kale and sweet potato was amazing!) and the drinks were fantastic. The history of the diner building itself is also fascinating. An enjoyable evening!

We were in Burlington for the weekend and went to El Cortijo for dinner on the recommendation of a friend. It a great spot the classic diner style mixed with a cantina feel. Margaritas are great and food was so fresh , would definitely go again!

This place has the best tacos. Period. We had the beef tongue, beef shoulder, crispy fish, and pork shoulder tacos. All were outstanding, but the beef tongue was both our favorites. They also serve Heady Topper, which is such an added treat. Service was impeccable as well! Looking forward to returning.

We had to wait about 40 minutes for a table in this tiny diner sized Mexican place but it was so worth it!! Fresh delicious and served hot - also on the lighter healthier side as far as Mexican goes. Definitely add this to your list!!

Wandered in to this Latin themed diner in Burlington and was amazed by the offering. Genuinely friendly waitstaff (real warm smiles!). And food that was delicious, affordable and in my case healthy too. Could not rate this place higher. Enjoy!
