We went for lunch on my birthday. This is a perfect location for a special occasion meal. Highly recommend the tasting menu which will provide soup, appetizers, several main dishes and dessert. Tea is provided to start. Full bar available which we did not use. Foods are set up on a lazy Susan in the middle of the table and... More

We can't complain about the food, although service was slow last night between plates. I am surprised at how cold and drafty it was inside, especially on outside walls. We told our waitress about the issue. So let's see if management spends a few dollars to seal the cold out and keep the heat in. We'll give it one more... More

We dined as a group of five and chose the tasting menu, which was priced at $38 per person. We enjoyed the food and there was a lot of variety to it. There were several vegetable dishes. There was a featured shrimp dish that included one large shrimp per person and a featured scallop dish that included one medium scallop... More

A Single Pebble - Burlington VT We visited this restaurant with a large group (including seniors and children) for dinner based on a friend's recommendation and were very disappointed. The waiter was insistent that we have the tasting menu, even though our group consisted of four children. He told us the cost for the tasting menu was $38 per adult... More

A Single Pebble has food that ranges from solidly good to excellent, a pleasantly cozy ambience, and surprisingly decent prices. We got the vegetarian tasting menu for lunch, which came out to less than $25 per person, even with a solid tip. The items in the tasting menu do change; my favorite this time was the dried green beans.

Our first visit in April was just wonderful. However, last night we had a waiter with attitude. He wasn't happy that we didn't order drinks or the chef tasting menu. My husband's meal came out quickly but mine was no where to be seen for 15 minutes. The waiter's excuse was that the kitchen is designed to send out only... More

Our group of three choose to order the vegetarian sampler meal. Cost was $38.00 per person. We received a variety of dishes all were good but NOT great. Typical Chinese food. I personally did not like either of the two noodle dishes The service was excellent. All servers were very attentive and explained the different dishes. The total cost for... More

We went here for a meal with the whole family. We ate at the spinning table; the waiters kept bringing out more and more food. I felt the space was a little small, but the food was great and plentiful with lots of variety.

Dinner at Single Pebble last week reminded me of how blessed Burlington is to have an Asian restaurant of the caliber of Single Pebble. It's been 20 years since I've traveled in China/Taiwan, so I cannot speak as to the authenticity of the recipes but you don't need to be an expert to recognize that their perfectly structured use of... I would recommend that you do the dim sum brunch with at least 4 people in order to share a wider assortment of the delectable small dishes. A waitress comes by with a tray of 6 or 8 small servings of a variety of dishes and the table gets to pick which ones they want to try from that assortment.... More
