Many cafes to choose from but this was an excellent choice. The menu has a good selection. I had the Salmon tacos which were delicious with chipotle sauce and big tender chunks of salmon. My wife had the sweet potato fries - large order and...More

We had a late lunch on a Friday at this busy cafe on the Church St. pedestrian mall in Burlington. Our waiter was courteous and attentive without being too "in your face." The food was very good. I had an Asian entree with salmon, pasta...More

It's a tradition that before school starts my mom and I go out to lunch. Last year we went to Sweet waters and got the lobster roll. We were hoping to do the same thing this year, but they did not have it. Instead we...More

Came here based on strong reviews and found the place to be nearly flawless. Creative menu, great outdoor people watching, friendly service - and a great bargain by big city standards. Particularly enjoyed the "brick" chicken - flavorful and beautifully garnished. Kudos to Tanner, our...More

Dine outside in this bustling restaurant, and you're in the thick of all the action in the happening outdoor shopping area in Burlington, and eating good food while watching it all. The service is friendly and fairly quick. My shrimp dish was a little too...More

We stopped Hereford a glass of wine and a "snack". The PEI mussels were superb and the onion soup very delicious. Very extensive menu and extremely friend staff.

Really good food - the pulled pork nachos were really, really good! Enjoyed eating outdoors under the umbrellas, watching the night time crowd stolling by. Fun location (was a Friday night).

Food was ok, service was very unprofessional. Waitstaff was very focused on flirting with one another, the customers were second thought. Announced from the host stand to the bar "someone puked in the sink." I was at Farmstand the night before and had the exact...More

August 2/17 We chose this restaurant because of the gluten free options. My partner is celiac. When we asked for a menu the hostess seemed uninterested in helping us, almost indifferent. After seating us the wait staff seemed to forget we were there. My partner...More

Sweetwaters is an American Bistro with an unique twist on your favorite eats. For over 30 years, we've been serving fantastic cuisine with local ingredients in a family-friendly atmosphere in the heart of Burlington, on the corner of College and Church Streets on the charming Church Street Marketplace. Architecturally interesting, Sweetwaters is housed in what was the original site of the Burlington Trust Company. Built in the 1880s, the building retains its original mouldings, cornerstone, clock and architectural appointments.

With a full bar, extensive menu, unique interior, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, Sweetwaters certainly has something for everybody. We serve lunch and dinner daily, with a late night menu for all you night owls out there.
