This was a great find in a small town. It was not expected amongst the greasy spoons and Subways that seem to be plentiful. We had a wonderful lunch with great tasting food made with great ingredients. The kids meals were huge too.

Positive Pie always feels friendly and welcoming. I have eaten here many times as I live in Hardwick and have never had a bad meal. I especially like the different gourmet pizzas.

We decided to go with "other than pizza", and got the wings, garlic knots, beet salad, and caesar salad. All were terrific. The beet salad, however, was a bit on the small side. Caesar salad was a good side. Then we went against our better judgment and got dessert. The creme brulee was very good. The bread pudding was good,... More

The pizza is varied with some unusual combinations. The crust is wood fired and thin, but w/o the crisp/overdone edges. Good beer selection and good service.

The title says it all. This place is not cheap, but you will get a very good slice'o and a pint of your favorite craft beer. The beer selection is very good. Every time I have been in here they have a nice variety of craft beers. There are times when you just want a slice of pizza and a... More

This is not your average Pizza place. The menu includes lots of traditional and not-so-traditional pizza offerings as well as some more unusual treats like fried brussel sprouts (don't scoff - you really should try these). There is a comfortable atmosphere and a great selection of beers and other "adult beverages". My only complaint is that it can be slow... More

I found this place when on visit to the small town of Hardwick. It was a nice find in what appeared to be a bit of hardscrabble community. The atmosphere was very nice, a bit of trendy edge but also cozy. I had the pizza which was very good and the service was fast and friendly. I did not get... More

There were 6 of us. We were seated in about 5 minutes on a Saturday night around 6 PM. The place was mostly full. Very nice in a modern and stylish yet laid back atmosphere. Plenty of menu choices, most in the $14-$25 price range. The alcohol menu was very good with a large number of artisan beers. Their main... More

Nice assortment of craft beers. There were three from Hill Farmstead on tap. Food is average. Pizza is thin crust and good, but not great. The restaurant seems a little run down. Nothing fancy, it is a pizza and beer joint!

I went to Positive Pie last month with my wife and daughter with great anticipation only to leave with a horrible taste in my mouth (figuratively, not literally) and vowing not to go back. Things were fine until an error was made that really was not that big a deal. I had ordered shrimp scampi only to be brought fettucine... More
