After skiing Stratton I was craving German food. This place was like flying to switzerland .authentic schnitzel. Everything simply delicious and gourmet. This place should be in Stratton mountain. It is expensive because this is the quality of food you would expect in a major city. Worth every penny. Friendly cook

So personable! The husband is an excellent chef, while the wife is a friendly and gracious host. You must have a reservation as they do not just run a restaurant. IF you reserve, they will cook for you. Quirky, but inviting. The homey feel starts when the HUGE (caged) dog welcomes you in the entryway. Towards the back of the... More

My partner and I made the 4 hour + trek to Vermont in search of great food and a nice time, and we found both at Asta's. We were immediately greeted by the owner Bonnie and her Bernese mountain dog. The atmosphere inside is definitely reminiscent of a traditional Swiss Alps restaurant. Bonnie made us feel very welcome, told us... More

My mother lives in Jamaica however this was a restaurant we never tried. The food and service was beyond excellent! We ate like pigs! Fondue, pâté, escargot (my 14 year old!), Weiner schnitzel, crab cakes and soup! Talk about carb overload! Quaint little restaurant. Loved that the chef served us the food! Mmmmm! We will definitely return!

This was our first trip to New England and our evening meal & breakfast was Excellent! Chef Michel is a master of the Swiss cuisine. Our overnight stay was also very comfortable. They have a charming setting and we loved their pups. This is a real gem!

This is a very small restaurant and B&B that is mainly open during ski season but is open with advance notice during the rest of the year. You have to call ahead and ask if they are cooking that day. If they are going to be cooking, they will do the shopping and prepare the menu for you and your... More

All I can say is incredible, from start to finish. I has been years since I've enjoyed a restaurant to the extent I did this one last night. Super cozy small chef-owned and operated. Started our night with some drinks in front of the fire and moved on to an incredible meal including appetizers, salads, entrees, desserts, and after dinner... More

Asta's has a lovely Middle European menu, well prepared and offered in a welcoming environment. We've been there several times in both winter and summer and will continue to frequent this restaurant.
