My wife and I were visiting Manchester in October, doing some Leaf Peeping. While staying at The Reluctant Panther down the street ( look for that review elsewhere) , we walked up to the Eqinox for a couple of afternoon drinks on the patio. ( that review is also on line). After our drinks, we decided to have dinner in... More

We shared some appetizers and drinks in Marsh Tavern on a Sunday afternoon which were tasty, would definitely go back the next time we stay at the Equinox.

...this would be a great place. Ambiance is lovely and you can't beat the convenience if you are staying in the hotel. The service was very attentive too. But our meals ranged from great ( ex. butternut bisque) to inedible ( ex. onion soup had a very odd , watery flavor). This pattern was true of every course we had.... More

Went on a weekday evening, place almost empty for such a fine property. Menu too foo foo for our taste. Told they took Shrimp off the menu because it was Summer Food. Tad expensive as well.

Good overall tavern food and very attentive service. The convenience upon arrival or when very tired after a day of hiking or sight seeing (if staying at The Equinox properties) makes it worth a visit.

I was thrilled to learn that the March Tavern does not use soybean oil in their cooking - this meant that I could have Fried Clams for a pub dinner. I had thought they were forever taken off my eating list as even Legal Seafood in Boston/environs uses soybean oil to cook their fried food with. Mind you, I rarely... More

This is a well known destination in New England. Rooms are newly decorated and the Spa and Pool are very clean. Pub food is pub food but the dining room is excellent. I have used many different rooms for fund raisers for many years. It has always been a wonderful experience. Would recommend the Hotel and all it has to... More

We ate here on a Sunday night. Just wanted something casual but still good food. We sat in the bar area where you can order from the "fine dining" menu or the "pub menu". We used the pub menu for onion soup and burgers.....all was just perfect. It is worth going just to have a chance to see some of... More

The atmosphere of the Marsh Tavern is old world and very family oriented. The service we had for breakfast was really good. The food was pretty good, I would have expected a bit better but it was still good. Enjoy.

This review is simple, it's good! The Marsh tavern is a delightful place to eat. A great atmosphere, in a great resort Hotel. Everything we ordered was good! Far better than typical tavern/bar fare. Appetizers/ small plates were all good, creative, and enough to share. The atmosphere and setting is warm, inviting, and comfortable. Plenty of spaces for a romantic... More

The historic Marsh Tavern was the first building erected on the site of what is today the expansive Equinox resort. One of the first lodging houses in Vermont, its history predates the Revolutionary War. Today it is home to a celebrated restaurant and meeting place. Renowned for its hearty New England fare, patrons can enjoy a delicious lunch and the finest regional dinner cuisine. And for good fun, spend a while in the Tavern Lounge for cocktails, a tasty menu and outdoor seating for wine and spirits. Open daily.
