The Coop is such a special place. Great selection, good prices and extremely knowledgeable staff. If you are going anywhere near Middlebury, stop in.

We had a delicious vegan dinner from the soup and salad bar, together with a home-baked dessert. They have a large bulk section of nuts, grains, seeds, etc.
One of my first things when in town is to visit the Cooperative. They have a good selection of local products including maple syrup, beers, and natural food - in addition to a range of vitamins and alternative medicine.
Awesome market with organic foods, especially Vermont products. Somewhat expensive but a good place for take out sandwiches or organic salads. Small area to eat in house. A good place for lunch.

Heard this place was unique and it is! Lots of natural, organic stuff and local local local! Enjoyed just browsing and we even had some delicious bread from Burlington and homemade squash soup! Definitely worth a stop for unique groceries, gifts and lunch!

We came for sandwiches and supplies along our bike tip, and drove back a few days later because we loved it so much. We think their curried chicken salad wraps may be the best sandwiches we have ever eaten! Nice people, great food!
