We ate here during our recent visit to Jay Peak and were pleasantly surprised to find Asian fusion food (expecting traditional pub). We liked it so much we went back, both nights it was packed but we got a table (for 5) within 15 min...More

For quite a while, Big Jay Tavern was our go to place on Monday nights because they had 50 cent wings, and the wings were great -crispy, not soggy. Unfortunately, for the first time Big Jay Tavern is not open this summer, and we are...More

The Tavern is absolutely perfect! Super charming with wood and glass windows that give you stunning views of the river creek and surrounding mountains. They have a nice combination of low and tall wooden tables that makes the Tavern super cozy and you have the...More

Enjoyed a casual dinner at big jay tavern with my family after skiing. Warm and cozy environment. Great food. Both the chicken and the soul were a little saucy but nice after a cold day skiing. I felt bad for the solo waitress but she...More

Great Vermont atmosphere. Good bar selection and great food. Has two large wood tables. Look for music on the weekends. Full band set up. Nice view of a creek out back.

My wife and I just had dinner at this little, local hangout down the hill from Jay Peak Ski area. It was delicious. She enjoyed her fish and chips. In her words, “light and delicious”. My maple/ouzo glazed ribs were incredible. I need that recipe....More

If visiting the NE Kingdom, be sure and stop for bite. Much better selection of food than is usually offered at a tavern - we had trout with capers and lemon. Nice view of local stream out the back, lots of parking.
