We stayed at a local B&B and another couple staying there highly recommended this place. The sandwiches were outstanding...large, full of meat and the bread was incredibly good! This is not a big place and don't go in expecting "fancy." But, if you want really good food at a very reasonable price, this is the place.

We were tourists stopping by for a sandwich as recommended. But everyone else in the place were regulars. That says a lot for the homemade quality of the fine sandwiches there. Worth seeking out even if you are just passing through.

Good turkey panini but an average "oriential" salad....dry noodles and too much sesame. 15 minute wait and the dining room was sweltering. Prices were fair.

This place makes the best sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches. The meat is always fresh and they make the best bread for miles.

Enjoyed their roast beef sandwich---nice small restaurant, that doesn't 'try' to be fancy. Only downside, may want to watch your comments ('hey bud', thankyou 'young man') --not something a 25 year old wants to hear. Otherwise, good eats.

I stop at Thompson's at least once a week to get my home-made English muffin fix. Yum! I'll often pick up a soup, salad or sandwich for lunch, too. Real food, good prices and delicious.

Freshly baked English muffins are key to a great breakfast sandwich, and Thompson's (not Thomas') are great. We also had a cinnamon roll that was excellent.
